Surfside Kayak Hire Case Study

Having designed Surfside’s previous website, it was great to be asked to redesign the new one. They wanted it to have a similar feel to the old one but refreshed and with full width with 6 large call action boxes on the home page leading to their services. Plus lots of white space and must be fully responsive on all devices.

They particularly wanted the FAQ page to be linked from the home page saving lots of time on questions. The booking system is linked to an off-site provider where we could link to various Kayak Tours directly so people to book and pay.

It was also important to add the 5 star TripAdvisor and Devon tourism awards they had been given. We also pulled in the Instagram feed as they update it on a regular basis giving freshness to the home page.

Lastly, it was built with a provision for eCommerce in the future if required.

Surfside Kayak Hire is a family run business, we have been avid kayakers for over 30 years including 15 years in and around Combe Martin.

Surfside Kayak Hire has been awarded a Trip Advisor Travellers Choice Award in 2021 and has been featured in the world-famous Huffington Post and The Guardian and has just received a silver award in the Devon Tourism Awards for ‘Experience of the Year’

They offer 1 & 2 hour plus bespoke Kayak tours as well as Stand up Paddleboarding hire.
